This past weekend at Michigan International Speedway, three major NASCAR series, ARCA, Trucks, and Cup, delivered solid racing action.

Cup Series – Hamlin Takes the Win
Denny Hamlin made a late move to take the checkered flag in Sunday’s FireKeepers Casino 400, leading just a handful of laps but timing it perfectly to grab the victory. Chase Briscoe continued his strong qualifying run with another pole, and William Byron stayed near the front, but it was Hamlin who came away with the big prize.

Truck Series – Friesen Breaks the Winless Streak
Saturday’s Truck race was a wild one, going into triple overtime before Stewart Friesen finally took the win, ending a long drought without a victory. Rookie Luke Fenhaus showed promise with his first career Truck pole, and Carson Hocevar led the most laps but had a penalty that slowed his finish.

ARCA Menards Series – Queen in Control
Friday’s ARCA race saw Brenden Queen dominate much of the day, leading 65 laps to pick up his third win of the year. Corey Heim pushed hard but couldn’t get past Queen down the stretch.

Looking Ahead
After Michigan, NASCAR heads to Mexico City next weekend for its first-ever points-paying Cup Series race outside the U.S. at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. The series will shift gears from Michigan’s fast oval to a challenging road course, promising a fresh test for teams and drivers alike.
