On a night filled with high anticipation and a sold-out crowd at North Wilkesboro Speedway, Kaden Honeycutt once again proved that he’s a force to be reckoned with on the zMAX CARS Tour circuit. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series regular led all 75 laps in dominant fashion during Thursday night’s Reverend Whiskey 75 Pro Late Model event, claiming back-to-back wins at the legendary 0.625-mile oval.
From the drop of the green flag, Honeycutt was on rails. Piloting the No. 47 Bryson Lopez Racing machine, he launched off the pole and never looked back, building a lead of over a second through long green-flag stretches. It looked like a runaway until a competition caution with 26 laps to go bunched the field and set up one final showdown.

Sutton Turns Up the Heat
Dawson Sutton, driving the No. 26 Rackley W.A.R. Chevrolet, took full advantage of the restart. The young driver pressured Honeycutt for several laps, cutting into his lead and looking poised for a late-race upset. But Honeycutt stayed composed, slicing through lapped traffic in the closing laps and stretching his lead back out to take the win by 0.368 seconds.
> “We had a really great car tonight,” Honeycutt said. “I was taking my time those last couple of laps with those lappers, and I saw Dawson was running me down pretty quickly, so I decided to just turn back up and get past those lappers. Pretty hectic those last couple of laps, but yeah, I’m just happy for this team, man.”

Hot Lap of the Night: Dawson Sutton
Despite finishing second, Sutton’s speed didn’t go unnoticed. He clocked the fastest lap of the race, a blistering 18.182 seconds earning him the Heat Wave Visual Hot Lap Award, presented by zMAX and SoundGear.

The Kid Can Wheel: Keelan Harvick Finishes Third
All eyes were on 12-year-old Keelan Harvick, son of NASCAR legend Kevin Harvick, and the rising star didn’t disappoint. Driving with maturity beyond his years, Harvick held his ground late in the race and came home with an impressive third-place finish, holding off seasoned Pro Late Model racers like Spencer Davis and Josh Berry.

Veterans Battle in the Top Five
Spencer Davis brought home fourth, continuing a strong season run.
Josh Berry, a proven winner in both the NASCAR Xfinity and Cup Series, started strong but faded late, rounding out the top five.

Baldwin Battles Back
Luke Baldwin, driving for Rick Ware Racing, had perhaps the wildest ride of the night. After blowing an engine in practice, borrowing one from Spencer Davis’ crew, and crashing during qualifying, Baldwin started from the rear. On the opening lap, a stack-up from Isaac Kitzmiller missing a shift caused a multi-car melee that damaged Baldwin’s machine.
Despite the adversity, Baldwin fought back and brought it home seventh, a gutsy drive that gave Rick Ware Racing the owner points lead.
> “Yeah, to an extent [it felt like a win]. Took the [owner] points lead, so that’s always good,” Baldwin said. “It’s better than loading up and going home after losing an engine.”
